For Fun // For Friends

It’s not only clients that take full advantage of my love of Photoshop, friends and family have made a habit of getting in on the act too. Over the years I have had some very strange requests, some of which definitely can’t be displayed here. However these are some of the ones which can be…

The first one shown here is a virtual tuning job I did for a friend who was thinking of modifying his Golf and was looking for ideas for styling. Not sure the Lamborghini wheels were within his budget, but he can dream i guess.

Another friend asked me if I could Photoshop his son as a number of Superhero’s to support his efforts to get him to eat his greens… Results still pending on that one.

When my wife and I found out we were pregnant with our second child I really wanted to announce it in a different, more creative way. Being a lover of Super Hero movies I thought a movie poster would fit the bill perfectly. Taking some of the styling from recent blockbusters like Guardians of the Galaxy and Thor I created my own version with my son playing the lead.

One of the more out there requests I’ve had was from a friend heading off on a Stagg Party after being given the role of best man. As the groom bore a striking resemblance to The Sherminator from the ‘American Pie’ movies he requested a cut out face mask for the whole group to wear.

The image below is from the most recent NUFC themed Christmas card I do every year. At the time the club were storming the Championship with new manager Rafa Benitez at the helm leading what was coined ‘The Rafalution’. As a passionate Newcastle United fan my friend obviously requested some disrespect to thrown in there to their biggest North East rivals too (sorry to any Sunderland fans).
